Software Engineer I

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer I to join our team!

The selected engineer will collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment.

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills + Experience:

Experience using the Linux CLI
Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL
Experience with designing and implementing REST interfaces
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
Experience with Git Source Control System

Desired Skills + Experience

Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools including Jira and Confluence
Experience with the Django Web framework
Experience with the Celery Task Scheduler
Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Familiar with creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
