Software Engineer II

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team!

The Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing access controls and permission mechanisms for securing access to critical HPC system resources through robust permission management, ensuring compliance with the Agency's security policies and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills + Experience:

Experience using the Linux CLI
Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes
Basic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management
Experience implementing Access Controls and permissions including RBAC and HBAC in a Linux environment
Experience developing software solutions using the Python programming languages
Familiar with IAM solutions such as KeyCloak, FreeIPA, SSSD, LDAP, Kerberos
Experience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning HPC hardware and software components
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
Experience with Git Source Control System

Desired Skills + Experience

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
