Software Engineer II
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team!
The Software Engineer will develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment, supporting Centralized UIs & Dashboards (CUID). The engineer automates operational tasks with Python and Bash and delivers capabilities through a GitLab CI pipeline alongside an Agile development team.
Qualifications:
The Software Engineer will develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment, supporting Centralized UIs & Dashboards (CUID). The engineer automates operational tasks with Python and Bash and delivers capabilities through a GitLab CI pipeline alongside an Agile development team.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes
- Recent software development experience using Python
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Desired Skills + Experience
- Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
- Experience with Secret Management tools including HashiCorp Vault
- Familiar with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions including Keycloak
- Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools including Netbox
- Familiar with Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as Splunk
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
