DevOps Engineer III

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer III to join our team! 

The Work:

  • Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems
  • Install, configure, and performance-tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native logging and metrics collection tools
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines that build, test, and deploy code using GitLab runners and Argo CD
  • Manage commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS)
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
    • 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
  • Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph within the last 7 years
  • Little to no work from home; a significant portion or all work is performed in a SCIF

Required:

  • Able to support an on-call rotation

Desired (at least 2 of the following):

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions) using Terraform and auto scaling
  • AWS networking principles, including VPCs, NAT gateways, and internet gateways
  • Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime
  • Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate
