Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer (Level 3) to join our growing team!
As part of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you will build and sustain mission-operations infrastructure tooling — automation, alerting, resiliency, and monitoring — and troubleshoot customer programming use-case configurations across a strictly Linux environment (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu). Expect up to 50% of the day to feel system-administration focused out of the gate as you learn the systems.
Qualifications:
As part of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you will build and sustain mission-operations infrastructure tooling — automation, alerting, resiliency, and monitoring — and troubleshoot customer programming use-case configurations across a strictly Linux environment (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu). Expect up to 50% of the day to feel system-administration focused out of the gate as you learn the systems.
Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of software integration / SRE experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree
- Strong Linux experience (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu)
- Programming in Python, C, and BASH
- Automation with Salt and Ansible
- Monitoring/alerting with Nagios plugins feeding Thruk dashboards, and feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards
- Metrics with Prometheus (moving toward customized Grafana dashboards)
- Gitbucket source control
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slurm
