System Engineer II

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Engineer II to join our growing team!

The Multi-Factor Authentication Management System (MFAMS), a cybersecurity services web application supporting Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) tools and services, is looking for a systems engineer to work alongside its developers across multiple fabrics. You will document the full lifecycle design, development, and testing of the software, produce standard systems engineering and test documentation along with internal and customer-facing documents, troubleshoot and gather requirements, and work directly with customers to resolve reported issues through alternative solutions or bug reports.

Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
    • An additional five (5) years of systems engineering experience may be substituted for the degree, for a total of fifteen (15) years
Desired Skills:
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, with minimal supervision
  • Analyze system requirements, the concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop requirements specifications
  • Gather, analyze, and document customer requirements
  • Triage user issues
  • Track and respond to user issues and questions
  • Communicate with stakeholders through both technical and non-technical documentation, such as user guides, FAQs, user notifications, and support communications
  • Create briefings and roadmaps to present to the customer
  • Familiarity with tools and ticketing systems such as Jira, Confluence, O365, and Microsoft Office
  • Capable of taking high-level tasking and executing the applicable processes to achieve a successful outcome
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with agile projects and processes
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly status in a timely manner
  • Provide meeting minutes
  • Coordinate and identify test users for various scenarios
  • Track and report testing results
  • Coordinate software deliveries with external organizations
