Specifically, the DEFSMAC team is seeking a System Administrator with strong Linux experience. This position requires an in-scope polygraph (within 7 years).

Specifically, the DEFSMAC team is seeking a System Administrator with strong Linux experience. This position requires an in-scope polygraph (within 7 years).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resolve environment-related issues
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus tools, and access controls
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Stay current with DevOps trends
- Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Strong Linux experience
- In-scope polygraph within 7 years
