Software Engineer II

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our growing team!

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of software engineering experience, or 18+ years in lieu of a degree
  • TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with object-oriented programming language constructs
  • Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)
  • Experience developing with interpreted languages, such as Python
  • Strong foundation in test-driven development (TDD) practices
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K8s, Helm charts)

Desired Skills

  • Go programming language and concurrent/parallel processing patterns
  • TypeScript and Angular framework for web application development
  • Stream processing systems (Kafka, Redis Streams, AMQP, Redpanda Connect/Benthos)
  • Excellent customer relations skills, including managing requirements for feature requests
  • Web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
  • Cloud technologies and concepts (AWS preferred)
  • Agentic development workflows and AI-assisted coding tools
  • Atlassian suite of tools for project management (Jira, Confluence)
