System Administrator II
Ft. Meade, MDReflexive Concepts is seeking a System Administrator to join our growing team!
Specifically, we are looking for a system administrator with hands-on experience in Linux server patching and upgrades, network infrastructure administration, virtualization and VM management, and related technologies.

Specifically, we are looking for a system administrator with hands-on experience in Linux server patching and upgrades, network infrastructure administration, virtualization and VM management, and related technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 10 years’ experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Security+ certification
- Stand up, configure and maintain Linux servers
- Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware
- Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable
- Support documentation of non-applicable controls
- Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software
- Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure
- Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware
- Document inventory changes
- Proficient with Linux
- minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years)
- Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources
- VM experience
- Security+ certification
Desired:
- Working knowledge and ability to use and/or support some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools:
- Dell and HPE servers
- Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Palo Alto firewalls
- Ansible
- Nutanix -- VM management
- Rubrik -- data storage
- Nomad containers
- SALT scripts
- LibreNMS
- NetBox
