Software Engineer II
Annapolis Junction, MDReflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team!
Specifically, we are looking for an engineer with hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Hadoop (MapReduce, HDFS), and related technology.

Qualifications:
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

- Ability to:
- Analyze user and system requirements to derive software design and performance specifications, conferring with users, system engineers, and hardware engineers as needed
- Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes
- Debug existing software, correct defects, and adapt to new hardware or performance improvements
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments
- Design and implement database interfaces and queries, ranging from simple to complex
- Develop and implement algorithms adhering to strict timing, system resource, and interface constraints
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components, performing quality control on team products
- Write, review, and improve software and system documentation and development process standards
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, data usage, systems flow, and work processes
- Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
- Serve as team lead or oversee development teams, ensuring work is completed within the constraints of the applicable software development process
