Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our growing team!
The ideal candidate will have experience in requirements gathering, release management, and technical writing, with the ability to comprehend and communicate complex systems architecture.
Qualifications:
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

- Develop and contribute to systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents
- Manage and derive system requirements — from stakeholder needs down to lower-level allocated requirements — ensuring they are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable; allocate requirements to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components
- Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with defined architectures (DoDAF, SOA, etc.)
- Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Non-repudiation, Availability), Basic IA Mechanisms (Identification, Authentication, Access Control, Accountability), and Security Mechanism Technology (passwords, cryptography, access control, hashing, key management, etc.)
- Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions that satisfy system requirements and fulfill functional analysis
- Define verification methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for systems, subsystems, and work products in a written plan
- Coordinate resolution of action items from CCB meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination
- Participate in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to design new capabilities, establish and gain approval of system/component definitions (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures), and evaluate all development and operational considerations
- Participate in interface definition, design, and configuration change management across affected groups throughout the lifecycle
- Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components
- Review and provide input to program and contract WBS, work packages, and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP)
