Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our growing team!
The ideal candidate will be a skilled back-end developer with demonstrated experience with OpenSource (NoSQL) products, expertise with MongoDB, Scala, Java, AWS and more.
Qualifications:
- Within the last five (5) years, a minimum of three (3) years’ experience programming with at least one (1) of the following languages; Java, C, and/or C++
- Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
OR
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with an additional two (2) years of programming experience
- Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification

- Designing and developing applications, web applications, and automated analytic software (including techniques and algorithms) in Windows or UNIX/Linux environments
- Ruby-on-Rails framework and JavaScript for web development
- Developing RESTful services and deploying analytics that discover and exploit social networks within a heterogeneous schema environment
- Big-Data Cloud Scalability (e.g., Amazon, Google, Facebook)
- CLOUDBASE internals, including configuring, tuning, and testing in many configurations (>200 node clusters)
- Compute cluster monitoring tools (e.g., Hobbit, Ganglia) and cluster performance management (e.g., Nagios)
- COPILOT, PRESSUREWAVE, and/or the R6 Cloud, including installation, configuration, and tuning
- LDAP protocol configuration and management
- Linguistics (grammar, morphology, concepts) and/or Rosette Base Linguistics software for Chinese and/or Arabic
- Documenting ontologies, data models, schemas, formats, data element dictionaries, software APIs, and other technical specifications
