Software Integration Engineer II

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in system integration, installation automation, and cross-team collaboration, as well as experience with Agile development methodologies and other related technologies.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years' experience as an SIE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
    • Ten (10) years’ SIE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integration, automation, and ongoing maintenance of five COTS products—including TeamMate+, Power BI, and CMTS—within a secure cloud environment
  • Perform quarterly updates, upgrades, and new installations, including creating or updating documentation for products with less mature processes
  • Oversee certificates, multiple development environments (x3), and day-to-day System Administration tasks, coordinating with the Cloud Operations Team for more complex activities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot integration issues, determining whether they stem from vendor bugs or configuration errors
  • Automate installation and operational processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python) and Windows or Linux command-line tools within Windows EC2 instances in a C2S environment
  • Manage and query Microsoft SQL databases
  • Support thousands of government users through the reliable operation of integrated applications
Required:
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Willingness to learn and develop strong understanding new technologies and products
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation including project schedules
  • Knowledge of scripting languages 
  • Experience developing and executing tests to validate the installation, integration, and configuration of COTS/GOTS software
  • Experience developing software tool plugins in the language in which the tools are written
  • Experience with basic system administration skills in cloud hosting platforms 
Desired:
  • Hands-on experience with software installation, configuration, and automation
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify root causes of integration issues
  • Ability to create or refine process documentation for repeatable success
  • Experience collaborating with cloud or infrastructure teams
