Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Administrator II to join our growing team!

Specifically, we are seeking a candidate with experience with RKE2, Kubernetes, Docker, Bash scripting, and Unix systems. They will work closely with senior team members to deploy, manage, and scale applications and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on RKE2 and Kubernetes clusters
• Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and management tasks
• Manage Docker container deployments and orchestration
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth and efficient software releases
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production environments
• Document processes, workflows, and configurations

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of RKE2 and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Unix/Linux operating systems
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies

Desired Skills:

• Experience with additional automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins
• Knowledge of networking concepts and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
