Sr. Backend Developer
Hanover, MDReflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team!
- Develop Lambda functions to replace Play Framework controllers
- Implement Lambda Authorizer for certificate validation
- Create Step Functions workflows for orchestration
- Optimize code for Lambda environment
- Migrate logic from Akka Actors to Lambda functions
- Develop and test API endpoints with API Gateway
- Implement cold start mitigation strategies
- Strong programming skills in JVM languages (Scala experience preferred)
- Experience with API development and REST patterns
- Willingness to learn AWS services (Lambda, API, Gateway)
- Understanding of authentication and security principles
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
