Linux / WebLogic Administrator

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a Sr. Weblogic Administrator to join our team!
Specifically, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled WebLogic Administrator / Linux System Administrator to support enterprise applications and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Oracle WebLogic Server, administering Linux systems, and supporting application deployments across Cloud Infrastructures. Experience with Java, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Database is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
  • Oracle WebLogic Administration experience required.
  • Administer and support Linux operating systems in on-premise and cloud environments (AWS and OCI).
  • Manage application deployments and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
  • Support Java-based applications, including configuration and deployment.
  • Collaborate with development, database, and security teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Assist with system patching, upgrades, automation, and compliance efforts.
  • Document system configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration.
  • Solid background in Linux system administration (Red Hat or Oracle Linux preferred).
  • Experience managing cloud environments in AWS 
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus
  • Familiarity with Java application deployment and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database administration or development.
  • Understanding of networking, storage, and security best practices in both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system or application administration, including cloud exposure.
Qualifications:
  • Managing/Senior Principal Consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise. Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology. Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows. Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security. Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning. Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations
