Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+)
- Eight Years' of relevant experience MUST contain the following:
- Prior networking and Linux System Administration.
- Comfortable navigating in a terminal, running commands.
- Comfortable SSHing to servers, port forwarding/SSH tunneling.
- Comfortable using KVMs and Dell iDracs and IP iLOs for troubleshooting.
- Experience with Power, Space, and Cooling submissions and hardware procurement process.
- Experience with preliminary design and ability to explain system design.
- Experience with creating and updating engineering and RF antenna diagrams.
- Experience with Confluence/Jira for communication and documentation.
- Additional Desired Skills:
- Comfortable racking stacking equipment (must be able to lift 40-50 lbs).
- Experience with building made to length power/network cables.
- Experience with RF system design, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with supporting system over high latency, low bandwidth, denied, degraded, intermittent, limited bandwidth (DDIL) environments.
- Basic experience working with containerized applications.
