Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II!
Specifically, someone who will be responsible for collaborating with System and Software Engineers to design and develop custom Kubernetes operators to manage the deployment and sustainment of of various SQL databases in support of the Database as a Service (DBaaS) mission solution for the CASA Compute Environment.

Qualifications: 

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
• Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills + Experience: 

• Experience using the Linux CLI to perform file system operations and package management.
• Experience writing Bash/Python scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows.
• Experience developing with multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, and Go in a Linux environment.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Kubernetes operators to automate the management of complex applications throughout their lifecycle.
• Experience with creating Helm Charts for Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab.
• Experience with Git Version Control System

Desired: 

• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
