System Engineer IV

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with strong project management skills to provide the engineering and project management for end-to-end data flows. The successful candidate will be able to elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps and schedules for implementing end-to-end data flows, including transformation into a standard data model. The individual will form good customer relationships and reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users. They will have a good understanding of the customer data flow architecture. They will work as a key contributor in an agile development environment.

In addition, candidate shall have:
  • Working knowledge of data collection and processing through analysis or data flow engineering.
  • General understanding of how data is processed and the necessary steps to stand up a new data flow.
  • Understand the structures and relationships in National to Tactical integration.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience. OR
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area). OR
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience. OR
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.

*Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.

*Note 2 - Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.
