Software Engineer II

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II!
Specifically, someone who will be responsible for collaborating with System and Software Engineers to design and develop custom Kubernetes operators to manage the deployment and sustainment of BEARHYDE CCE, a Corporate Data Compliance Service for the CASA Compute Environment. The BEARHYDE service shall provide a containerized service that customers can provision and access on demand inside a Kubernetes cluster.

Qualifications: 
  • Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Required Skills + Experience
  • Experience using the Linux CLI
  • Experience writing Bash/Python scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows
  • Experience developing Java applications in a Linux environment
  • Experience with SQL technologies such as PostgreSQL
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies such as Elasticsearch
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Experience with Helm Charts and Kubernetes operators to automate the management of complex applications throughout their lifecycle
  • Experience with Git Version Control System
Desired: 
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
  • Experience providing customer outreach and troubleshooting support
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab
